Indonesia stocks were higher after the close on Wednesday, as gains in the Infrastructure, Financials and Agriculture sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Jakarta, the IDX Composite Index added 0.44%.
The best performers of the session on the IDX Composite Index were Adaro Minerals Indonesia Tbk PT (JK:ADMR), which rose 1,180.00% or 1,180.00 points to trade at 1,280.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Maha Properti Indonesia Tbk PT (JK:MPRO) added 1,090.91% or 1,200.00 points to end at 1,310.00 and Pelita Teknologi Global PT Tbk (JK:CHIP) was up 790.63% or 1,265.00 points to 1,425.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Equity Development Investment (JK:GSMF), which fell 99.39% or 8,448.00 points to trade at 52.00 at the close. Indo Acidatama Tbk (JK:SRSN) declined 98.51% or 3,448.00 points to end at 52.00 and Surya Toto Indonesia Tbk (JK:TOTO) was down 98.43% or 14,076.00 points to 224.00.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Jakarta Stock Exchange by 430 to 272 and 131 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for October delivery was down 0.48% or 0.34 to $70.00 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in November fell 0.37% or 0.27 to hit $73.48 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.51% or 12.85 to trade at $2,510.15 a troy ounce.
USD/IDR was down 0.18% to 15,509.55, while AUD/IDR fell 0.15% to 10,412.22.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.17% at 101.59.
